The present invention relates to a cooling fin and a cooling fin cover of a water cooling type inverter heat sink for an electric vehicle. In a structure that receives heat through a surface contact with a power module requiring fast and efficient heat dissipation, and dissipates the heat through the cooling fin and cooling water, a flatness of a back surface of a heat sink in contact with the power module should be secured in order to improve heat transfer efficiency. To secure the flatness, a plane is formed by forming a height of the heat sink to curve or forming a cover part of the heat sink in contact with the heat sink into a curved surface to offset deformation of a curved surface caused when assembling or operating an inverter structure. Ultimately, the cooling fin and the cooling fin cover are for increasing efficiency of a water cooling system which receives the heat generated by the power module through the surface contact and dissipates the heat through the heat sink.
