HSR METHOD OF FRAME MULTICASTING AT HSR PROTOCOL

The present invention relates to a frame multicasting method in an HSR protocol, which comprises the steps of: grouping at least two DANH nodes to be set as at least one group; transmitting a frame to a destination node by one DANH node included in the group as a source node; and multicasting the frame transmitted from the source node to a network through a quad-box node formed in a sub-ring including the source node and another quad-box node formed in a main ring, wherein the another quad-box node formed in the main ring multicasts the frame transmitted from the source node to a sub-ring connected thereto, only when the sub-ring connected thereto includes the DANH node included in the same group as the group including the source node. Accordingly, DANH nodes configuring an HSR protocol are grouped, and a frame is multicasted only through a quad-box node including the DANH nodes designated as a group, and thus traffic generated in a network is reduced, thereby providing more bandwidths to the network.
