The present invention relates to a novel EGCG glycoside and a method for preparing the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a novel EGCG glycoside with improved water solubility and browning inhibition properties, a method for preparing the EGCG glycoside, and a cosmetic composition, a pharmaceutical composition and a use thereof in food compositions of the EGCG glycoside.
