The present invention relates to a water treatment method for removing algal bloom and red tide using mineral with abundant sulfur ingredients, in which alumite grit is prepared by grinding the alumite, wherein the alumite grit is obtained by grinding the alumite grit having an ingredient content of 95% or more, the size of the alumite grit is set to 5 mm or less in diameter. The prepared alumite grit is rich in the sulfur ingredients, and 2-8 wt% of prepared grit minerals are diluted in water and the diluted composition is put to the region of the algal bloom and red tide. Depending on the amount of algal bloom, when the algal bloom is severe, the alumite grit having low mesh (80-120 mesh) is used, but when the algal bloom is weak, the alumite grit having low mesh (200 mesh) is used.
