The present invention relates to a method for separating papillary dermis fibroblasts and to a method for obtaining papillary dermis fibroblast population of high purity. The method for separating the papillary dermis fibroblasts and the method for obtaining the papillary dermis fibroblast population of high purity according to the present invention can separate a papillary dermis fibroblast portion having an excellent skin regeneration effect in high purity among the fibroblasts. In addition, the papillary dermis fibroblasts separated by the method and the composition comprising the population can be used as a medicine because of excellent skin regeneration effect as compared with conventional fibroblast treatment agents, and can be also used as quasi-drugs, and cosmetics.
