Method for preparing of cactus powder and cactus powder obtained thereby

The present invention relates to a method for producing a cactus powder without prickles and to a cactus powder produced by the method, wherein the method comprises the following steps: (A) lyophilizing a cactus stem at the temperature of -70 to -100°C for 12 to 20 hours; (B) pulverizing the lyophilized cactus stem with a pin-mill equipped with a pulverizing net having a pore size of 5 to 20 mesh; and (C) obtaining a fine pulverized product by rotating the pulverized cactus stem powder at 4000 to 10000 rpm so as to separate the pulverized product and a crude pulverized product using a difference in sedimentation speed caused by a specific gravity difference of the pulverized cactus stem powder. Unlike a conventional cactus powder containing cactus prickles which are not completely crushed, the present invention provides the cactus powder with removed cactus prickles, so that a good swallowing feeling can be obtained even when eaten by being mixed with water like sunsik and no scars are made in the throat, stomach and the like.
