The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a high strength single-walled carbon nanotube/a polymer composite filament and a high strength single-walled carbon nanotube/a polymer composite filament manufactured thereby, and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a high strength single-walled carbon nanotube/a polymer composite filament which manufactures a single-walled carbon nanotube having a high strength/a polymer composite filament with a single-walled carbon nanotube and a polymer mixing solution by using a wet spinning method, and a single-walled carbon nanotube/a polymer composite filament manufactured thereby. The single-walled carbon nanotube/the polymer composite filament according to the present invention can be used in a humidity sensor or the like based on fibers wearable by being attached to clothes or the like because a filament is formed by which a polymer surrounds a single-walled carbon nanotube and when a polymer absorbs moisture, a conductivity is changed.
