A signal transmission structure within a printed circuit is formed to have a reduced loss by making a specific adjustment to reduce the surface roughness of an adjacent power plane, thereby reducing an effect of a magnetically induced current. A power plane structure retains sufficient surface roughness to accommodate a manufacturing operation while contributing to reduce a signal transmission loss in an adjacent signal transmission structure. Accordingly, the transmission structures is capable of more efficiently transmitting a high speed signal without undesired attenuation and loss.
