The present invention relates to a photocatalyst for dioxin treatment, a method of preparing the photocatalyst for dioxin treatment and a method of treating dioxin in soil using the photocatalyst for dioxin treatment, and more specifically, to a photocatalyst for dioxin treatment comprising a BiVO_4-Bi_2O_3 complex, a method of preparing the photocatalyst for dioxin treatment and a method of treating dioxin in soil using the photocatalyst for dioxin treatment. The present invention can provide a photocatalyst which is capable of treating dioxin by effectively using a visible light region occupying the majority of a sunlight wavelength range; and a method of preparing the photocatalyst. Further, the present invention can provide a method of treating dioxin in soil, the method which is capable of removing dioxin in soil at excellent efficiency by effectively combining the photocatalyst and the Fenton oxidation process.
