Biomarker comprising of free fatty acid for prognosis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis

Provided are a biomarker for predicting lung fibrosis prognosis including free fatty acid and a method for providing information to a lung fibrosis prognosis prediction comprising a step of measuring the content of free fatty acids in lung tissue isolated from a patient. The method of the present invention can provide useful information for predicting a progress of a patient with idiopathic lung fibrosis and setting a treatment strategy for the patient.
