SMART MAIL ACCEPTANCE SYSTEM AND METHOD USING IOT TECHNOLOGY

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a smart mail acceptance system using an internet of things (IoT) technology comprises: a smart mailbox generating a code including purchase information related to a packing box when a box purchase button for purchasing the packing box is clicked; an application installed in a user terminal, scanning the code to read the purchase information, and requesting payment approval for the packing box by using the purchase information and payment information input from the user terminal in response to the purchase information; and a mail management server receiving the payment information from the user terminal, and processing the payment approval. Since the packing box for packing mails can be purchased and stored on the spot, thereby increasing a usability rate of the packing box and improving a mail service.
