The present invention relates to a graphene-vanadium oxide nanowire, which comprises: a nanowire core comprising vanadium oxide; and a shell formed on the surface of the nanowire core and comprising graphene oxide. By using the graphene-vanadium oxide nanowire, a manufacturing method thereof, an anode active material comprising the same and a secondary battery, it is possible to provide the graphene-vanadium oxide nanowire having improved capacity stability and the manufacturing method thereof. In addition, by using the graphene-vanadium oxide nanowire according to the present invention as the anode active material, it is possible to provide the secondary battery having improved cycle characteristics and capacity retention rate.
