The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising isosakuranetin. More particularly, the present invention relates to a cosmetic composition having excellent effects such as skin whitening, skin elasticity enhancement, wrinkle alleviation or moisturizing. The composition of the present invention exhibits an excellent effect of reducing the total amount of melanin at a low concentration and is excellent in collagen synthesis promoting effect, elastase and collagenase activity inhibiting effect, and also has excellent antidiabetic effect, and thus can be used as a cosmetic composition for skin whitening, skin elasticity enhancement, wrinkle alleviation or moisturizing.
