Provided are an apparatus for scoring subjective mathematical questions through an online network and a method thereof, which increase the accuracy of scoring subjective mathematical questions and increase a learning effect. The present invention relates to an apparatus for scoring subjective mathematics questions through an online network wherein the apparatus includes a teacher terminal, a student terminal, and a server. The teacher terminal inputs a correct answer type, correct answer content, and a correct answer weighted value together with a subjective mathematical question and uploads the same to the server. The student terminal inputs an answer type and answer content corresponding to the subjective mathematical question and uploads the same to the server. The server comprises: a scoring unit for scoring a correct answer by comparing correct answer content for each correct answer type with answer content for each answer type and scoring and recording a correct answer or an incorrect answer for each item of a specific part of the correct answer type; and a weighted value setting unit for setting a scoring standard by applying a weighted value of different points to each item among correct answer types.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
