A disclosed band saw cleaning unit for a band saw-type meat cutter comprises a cleaning unit body, a high-pressure air flow hole, and a high-pressure air injection hole. Even during rotation of a band saw, foreign substances stuck on the surface of the band saw can be removed and cleaned by high-pressure air sprayed through the high-pressure air injection hole. Accordingly, the band saw can be cleaned even without stopping the band saw-type meat cutter while cutting meat to be cut. Even in a process of cleaning the band saw, the band saw-type meat cutter can be continuously operated. In addition, cleaning of the band saw can be automatically performed. Thus, a cleaning time is relatively shortened compared to when a manual operation is performed, and such cleaning can be conveniently performed. Also, the present invention has an advantage of preventing an accident in which a cleaning worker is hurt by a sharp band saw during a cleaning operation.
