FeGa A NITROGENOUS FEGA MAGNETOSTRICTIVE MATERIAL AND ITS PREPARATION METHOD

The present invention provides a FeGa magnetostrictive material containing nitrogen and a predation method thereof. The composition and content of the FeGa magnetostrictive material are expressed as Fe100-x-yGaxMyNz, wherein, M is Al, Si, or B, x = 15 to 20 at%, y = 0 to 1.5 at%, and z = 0.1 to 1.0 at%. A surface of the material of the present invention contains a certain amount of iron nitride and improves the magnetostrictive performance of the FeGa magnetostrictive material through introduction of nitrogen, and iron nitride on the surface helps improve the corrosion resistance of the material.
