Smart recognition system and method using hand motion tracking

The present invention relates to a smart recognition system using hand motion tracking and a method thereof. More specifically, the present invention includes: a step of recognizing a hand by using an image (A) inputted for hand recognition; a step of defining the center of a palm in an image (B) inputted for hand tracking by using the hand recognition information; a step of calculating a fingertip point in the image (B) by using the hand recognition information and the center of the palm; a step of connecting a line between the center of the palm and the fingertip point; and a step of outputting a hand tracking result by comparing the length value of the line to a reference distance value of the image (A). Thus, in relation to hand motion tracking, through simple calculation using an image inputted for hand recognition, a higher detection rate is able to be maintained. The present invention is able to be applied to various security systems using hand motion tracking, and moreover, is able to be applied to augmented reality technology.
