The present invention relates to a primer set for diagnosis of hapatitis E virus genotypes 3 and 4 and to a diagnosis method using the same, and specifically, since a primer set for nested RT-PCR amplifying specifically for the hapatitis E virus genotypes 3 and 4 is prepared, and it was confirmed that hapatitis E virus genotypes 3 and 4 can be differentiated from pig samples and human serum samples, and thus the primer set of the present invention can be usefully used for diagnosing the hepatitis E virus genotypes 3 and 4.
