The present invention relates to omegi yeast for manufacturing functional fermented liquor and fermented liquor by using the same. According to the present invention, the omegi yeast for manufacturing functional fermented liquor can be manufactured by the steps of: (a) grinding and washing uncracked grains of barley, and immersing the uncracked grains of barley in water for 8-12 hours; (b) removing moisture, and adding flour to mix and stir; (c) removing dough with a predetermined size to mold; and (d) putting the dough into a yeast mold to ferment. Therefore, the fermented liquor manufactured by using the omegi yeast has the excellent quality, and excellent characteristics in an anti-oxidative activity. Accordingly, the present invention provides new fermented liquor native to Korea with improved palatability and functionality, and omegi yeast for manufacturing the new fermented liquor.
