The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for prevention and treatment of tuberculosis, which comprises, as an active ingredient, a compound which reduces the expression of mitochondrial membrane protein mitofusin 2 (MFN2). Since the compound which reduces the expression of MFN2, an active ingredient of the present invention, and has an effect of inhibiting proliferation of tubercular bacillus by inducing apoptosis of macrophages, the method of the present invention including the compound as the active ingredient can be usefully used in prevention or treatment of the tuberculosis.
