An operating method of a fluidized bed granulator including a flow chamber which is formed within the granulator, an added raw material injection unit which injects an added raw material for growing a seed material into granules on a bottom part of the flow chamber, a first compressed air injection unit which supplies a first compressed air facing a top part of the flow chamber from the bottom part of the flow chamber and a discharge unit which is provided in the top part of the flow chamber comprises the steps of: forming an air barrier by using a second compressed air injection unit which is installed under the discharge unit to supply a second compressed air that resists against air flow caused by the first compressed air; and controlling a flow rate gradient from the first compressed air injection unit to the second compressed air injection unit by using the air barrier when the seed material or granule is vertically circulating by the first compressed air, wherein the operating method can control the residence time within the flow chamber and the content of the powder mixed with the air passing through the air barrier by controlling the flow rate gradient.
