The present invention relates to an eco-friendly resin composition for manufacturing an egg container and a method for manufacturing an egg container using the composition, and more particularly, to a resin composition comprises a synthetic resin, a biomass derived resin, a biodegradable resin, a surfactant and an antimicrobial agent and a method for manufacturing an egg container by injection-molding the composition comprising the above components. In the eco-friendly resin composition for manufacturing an egg container, the biomass derived resin and the biodegradable resin are used so that manufacturing cost is inexpensive and excellent degradability is exhibited to be eco-friendly, and the antimicrobial agent is included to enhance the preservability of eggs.
