The present invention relates to a control system for safe working of a forklift using an electronic control method that can effectively prevent an accident at working of the forklift by automatically stopping operation of the forklift if it is detected a person or an object approaching within a predetermined radius around the forklift. The control system includes: an approach detecting unit provided to the forklift to detect a person or object approaching around the forklift in real time; a main control unit provided to control a drive signal and an operation signal of the forklift, and receiving a detecting signal from the approach detecting unit to supply an electrical control signal for urgently stopping the forklift; and an electronic control unit controlling the input of an electronic signal according to the manipulation of a buzzer or switch of the forklift, wherein the electronic control unit receives a supply signal of the main control signal according to whether or not a recognition signal of the approach detecting unit is delivered and then supplies an electronic control signal for an operation stop of the forklift.
