The present invention relates to a method for improving the coagulation promoting activity of a Tissue Factor expressed in eukaryotic cells by contacting an anionic phospholipid such as phosphatidylserine with microvesicles derived from eukaryotic cells. The present invention also relates to microvesicles using such a method as well as for use as a coagulant for accelerating wound healing and angiogenesis.
