The present invention relates to an HK235 strain in the genus Chitinophaga, a culture solution thereof, and a composition for controlling plant disease containing a fraction of the culture solution as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the HK235 strain in the genus Chitinophaga, the culture solution thereof, and the fraction of the culture solution shows controlling effects in plant disease crucial in the crop production such as blast disease, sheath blight, gray mold rot, plague, powdery mildew, brown rust, and anthrax, thereby being useful in compositions for controlling plant disease.
