According to the present invention, a cover for a line post insulator comprises: a main body (200) made of an insulative material to support a power line positioned on an insulator; and a pair of mounting bands (300) tightly fixed on the circumferential surface of an upper end of the insulator while being coupled to the main body to firmly fix the main body on the insulator. The main body (200) includes: an upper plate unit (210) formed on the center in a prescribed width; a pair of holder units (220) extended in a longitudinal direction of both sides of the upper plate unit to enclose the power line to support the power line; and a pair of first and second diameter reduction members (240, 250) positioned between the upper plate unit and the pair of holder units to be folded to a portion on which the power line is seated to compensate for the diameter difference between the different sizes of the power line and pair of holder units. The present invention compensates for a diameter difference between a corresponding power line and a portion fixing the power line by the diameter reduction members with different protruding protrusion heights, and hence can be applied to all power lines regardless of size.
