Provided is a tooth model to evaluate suitability of scaling. According to an embodiment of the present invention, which tooth model comprises: artificial teeth; an artificial gum covering the artificial teeth; a sensing part installed on the artificial teeth and/or the artificial gum to detect an electrical change due to contact with a scaler tip; and a data detection processing part for detecting a contact position of the scaler tip based on the detected result of the sensing part.
