The present invention relates to a porous acupuncture needle and a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the porous acupuncture needle with a maximized specific surface area formed with a hole having a nano-size to a micro-size on the surface of the acupuncture needle is manufactured, then the inside of the hole of the porous acupuncture needle and/or the surface of the acupuncture needle such as a surrounding of the hole is formed with noble metal nanoparticles so as to be integrated with the acupuncture needle. The present invention comprises: a first step of manufacturing the porous acupuncture needle; a second step of cleaning the porous acupuncture needle; and a third step of plating the porous acupuncture needle with the noble metal nanoparticles.
