The present invention relates to a sewing machine for a sleeve placket. The sewing machine includes a sewing frame fixedly installed on the main body of the machine, a work die movably installed in the front and rear, left and right directions of the main body in the lower portion of the sewing machine and having a controlled position relative to the sewing machine; a contact-setting unit which touches a plaque cloth placed on the work die and is set a placket form, and a sewing line setting unit which sets a sewing line by press-fixing the plaque cloth and the sleeve cloth when the sleeve cloth is placed on the set plaque cloth. According to the present invention, it is possible to automate the sewing process of the sleeve placket and greatly improve workability, and to perform sewing work efficiently and quickly even without skilled techniques.
