PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic front placket sewing machine which increases the sewing work efficiency and reduces the sewing cost by reducing the sewing work labor by hand sewing, and at the same time, by which the front placket sewing of a knitted product can automatically be performed with a good quality.;SOLUTION: This automatic front placket sewing machine 100 for a knitted product is equipped with two needles 12 and 13 which vertically move on a sewing machine main body 10. The automatic front placket sewing machine 100 is also equipped with a pair of right and left carriages 20 which are connected with a means which moves in the longitudinal direction of the sewing machine main body 10 and a means which moves in the vertical direction, and a fabric presser movable body 30. In this case, the fabric presser movable body 30 comprises a fabric presser 31 which is provided counter to the distal ends of respective carriages 20, and presses a cloth 15 to be sewn on a table 14 when the carriages 20 descend, and a means which extends/narrows the counter interval of the fabric presser 31.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
