METHOD OF PELVIC FLOOR DEFORMITY CLOSURE AFTER EXTRAVATIVE ABDOMINOPERINEAL RESECTION WITH USE OF A XENOPERICARDIAL PLATE 'CARDIOPLANT'

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: pelvic floor deformity is closed after extravative abdominoperineal resection. Anatomical integrity of pelvic diaphragm is restored with the help of "Cardioplant" plate. On the remains of muscles and anocarpal ligament, stitches are put, which fix the plate with U-shaped stitches. The smooth surface of the plate is pre-treated with an anti-collision gel. The fibrous surface of the plate is oriented toward the soft tissues of perineum. Plate is adapted to the size of the defect, creating a moderate tension, avoiding wrinkles. The excess of plate is cut off and plate is additionally fixed around the perimeter of a continuous stitch with a non-absorbable thread. Ishiorectal tissue and the skin of the perineum are sutured.;EFFECT: method provides restoration of anatomic integrity of pelvic diaphragm, reduces the risk of postoperative complications while reducing time of plastics due to tissue regeneration optimisation.;6 dwg
