Methods (variants) for producing a magnesium diboride-based wire include forming a monofilament billet by placing a powder of magnesium diboride in a metal shell, its deformation by dragging to the production of a rod of the required dimensions and cutting it into measuring parts, forming a multifilament billet from the obtained measuring parts by placing them in a metal case, deforming the obtained multifilament billet by drawing it to obtain a composite wire and annealing it, and when forming the multicore fiber in the center there is core which is made (1) of highly electrically and thermally conductive material, then in the direction from the center to the periphery, dimensional parts of rod (2) are placed by successive coaxial layers, placed in matrix (3) of highly electrically and thermally conductive material.;EFFECT: invention provides stability and high current-carrying capacity of wire obtained by the developed method.;26 cl, 2 dwg
