FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the production of a high-temperature alloy based on the intermetallic compound of Nb3Al. In method of embodiment 1, the batch comprising oxides of Nb2O5 and Al2O3 and calcium hydride are thermally treated at a temperature of 1,100–1,300 °C for at least 6 hours with provision of hydride-calcium synthesis of alloy powder based on the intermetallic compound of Nb3Al, which is treated with water and a hydrochloric acid solution, dried and classified. Resulting powder is compressed and then sintered under vacuum at a residual pressure of not more than 10-4 mmHg at a temperature of 0.77 to 0.87 of the melting point of the alloy based on the intermetallic compound Nb3Al with holding for at least 1 hour to produce a billet with a relative density of at least 95 %, after which hot isostatic pressing of the resulting preform is carried out at a temperature of not lower than 1,700 °C and a pressure of 150–190 MPa.;EFFECT: enabling production of high-temperature alloys with controlled phase and chemical compositions, as well as the repeatability of the performance characteristics of products made from these alloys.;6 cl, 6 ex
