METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF AUDITORY VERTIGO

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: temporalis muscle fascia and an autocartillage fragment from the ear wound are taken. The soft tissues and skin of the upper, rear and lower walls of the external auditory canal are dissected. Further, canaloplasty is performed followed by tympanotomy and tympanic cavity revision. The longitudinal promontorial window of 2×3 mm is imposed. The endolymphatic space is opened. A drainage silicone tube with a lumen diameter of 1 mm and length of 3 mm is installed. The autocartillage is laid on the periphery of the created window in the form of a ring so that the distal end of the tube freely protrudes by1 mm into the tympanum above the autocartillage. Several fragments of a hemostatic sponge impregnated with hypertonic sodium chloride solution are laid over the autocartillage and drainage tube. Temporal muscle autofascia is laid on the top of the sponge. After that, it is fixed along the perimeter by the mucosa of the promontory.;EFFECT: method provides stable regression and prevention of vestibular disorders in the remote postoperative period and allows efficient drainage of the endolymphatic space of the inner ear by forming a pro-montorial longitudinal window and an additional reservoir under the autofascia, using a drainage silicone tube and a hemostatic sponge.;1 ex
