FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely, the deformation-thermal treatment of titanium-niobium-tantalum-zirconium alloys with shape memory effect and can be used in metallurgy, machine building and medicine, in particular in the manufacture of medical devices such as "stent", "Kafa-filter" and others. Method of obtaining a nanostructured wire from a titanium-niobium-tantalum-zirconium alloy with shape memory effect includes homogenizing annealing, intense plastic deformation and recrystallization annealing. Homogenizing annealing of the ingot is carried out in a vacuum at temperature of 600 °C for 16 hours. Intense plastic deformation is carried out by multistage rolling at temperature of 15–30 °C with ensuring that the accumulated degree of deformation in the resulting blank is 400 %. Recrystallization annealing is carried out in a vacuum at temperature of 550 °C, then the billet is cut into bars by an electro erosion method, a multi-stage rotary forging of rods is carried out at temperature of 250 °C and multi-stage drawing at temperature of 80–100 °C and degree of deformation of not more than 80 % to obtain a wire. In this case, after each stage of rotational forging and drawing, an annealing in vacuum is carried out at temperature of 550 °C.;EFFECT: strength is improved while maintaining the plasticity of the nanostructured titanium-niobium-tantalum-zirconium wire with shape memory effect.;1 cl, 4 dwg, 1 tbl, 3 ex
