FIELD: test technology.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for a road test of the reliability of a vehicle with an automatic hydromechanical transmission. Method consists in moving the vehicle along the support surface in the leading unsteady mode of motion. In this case, the engine and transmission assemblies are loaded with the torque in cycles, each of which is positive from the engine and negative in the braking mode of the engine.
