Herewith the method is characterized in that, as the activating reagent, aqueous solutions of citric or formic or acetic, or tartaric or oxalic acids or any mixture thereof are used in their weight content in the activating solution from 0.5 to 50 %, and in addition to the 1-MCP powder preparation, in an activating solution is simultaneously injected carbonate or bicarbonate of lithium, sodium, potassium, calcium or magnesium or any mixture thereof and methyl cellulose in a weight content (activating solution):(1-MCP powder preparation):(carbonate or bicarbonate or a mixture thereof):(methyl cellulose) of 5–50:1:0.5–50:0.001–0.5, and the process of gas emission is carried out for 0.5–4.0 hours followed by yield aging in the atmosphere of 1-MCP at a temperature of 0–20 °C for a total of up to 24 hours, counting from the moment of the beginning of 1-MCP gas emission.
