METHOD OF WATER TRANSFER FROM THE OB RIVER TO THE VOLGA RIVER FOR SUPPLYING PURE WATER OF DRYING AREAS IN SOUTH RUSSIA

Essence of the invention consists in the following. In the lower reaches of the Ob River, a canal is built to transfer water to the hydroelectric complex in the foothills of the Ural Mountains, where powerful pumping stations are constructed to pump water through pipelines to the Vishera River. Throughout the Vishera River, a cascade of hydroelectric power stations is being built to supply power to pumping stations. Water along the Vishera River flows into the Kama river and further into the Volga River. In the lower reaches of the Volga River, water is used for artificial irrigation of agricultural land in the dry period, June-July-August, to obtain a stable wheat crop.;EFFECT: discharge of clean water from the Ob River along the Volga leads to the cleaning of the bottom sediments of the Volga channel and the elimination of stagnant zones.;1 cl, 1 dwg
