Turbocharger protection system is designed to prevent damage when the pressure of the lubricating oil is not sufficient. Turbocharger protection system comprises first exhaust gas passing means controlled depending on the pressure of the lubricating oil in the turbocharger unit in order to allow to at least a part of the exhaust gas to bypass the turbine when the pressure is below a first predetermined threshold. Turbocharger contains a lubricating circuit. Bypass means comprise a minimum pressure valve with a drive input operatively connected to the lubricating circuit. System further comprises second exhaust gas passing means controlled depending on the air pressure measured in the respective intake manifold and comprising a boost pressure regulator. First and second bypass means comprise a common bypass pipe. Charge pressure regulator (166) and the minimum pressure valve are integrated in a single body (24), forming a two-valve intake valve. Two-wheel intake valve comprises an outer housing (24), a first inlet (68), a first expandable chamber (121), a first spring (131), a second inlet (610), a second expandable chamber (122), a second spring (132) and a single rod (137). First input (68) serves for a functional connection to the pipe between the intake manifold and the compressor of the turbocharger of the internal combustion engine. First input (121) is opened in the first chamber (68). First chamber (121) is formed between the outer casing (24) and the first movable member (31). First spring (131) is installed between the first movable member (31) and the first fixed point (1351) in the outer casing (24) in the third chamber different from the first and second chambers (121), (122). First spring (131) exerts resistance to the expansion of the first chamber (121). Second input (610) is intended for a functional connection to the lubricating circuit of the turbocharger unit. Second input (610) is opened to the second chamber (122). First chamber (122) is formed between the outer casing (24) and the first movable member (32). Second spring (132) is positioned between the second movable member (32) and the second fixed point (1352) in the outer casing (24). First spring (132) exerts resistance to the expansion of the first chamber (122). Single rod (137) is movable between the retracted and extended positions and is connected to the movable elements (31), (32) for controlling the bypass of the turbine (14). Internal combustion engine comprising turbo-supercharging and a turbo-block protection system and a method for protecting a turbo-supercharging unit are disclosed.;EFFECT: technical result is to prevent damage to the turbocharger when the lubricating oil pressure is insufficient.;7 cl, 11 dwg
