The invention provides that from the at least one displayed element (33) an optically salient element (33), which the user must focus with the eyes to successfully carry out the use step (29), and depending on a display position of the optical salient element (33) on the screen (18) and in dependence on the at least one viewing direction indication (21) calibration data (28) for calibrating the eye tracker unit (19) are generated.
