The present invention relates to a frictional clutch with an adjusting device for adjustment of a wear caused by false distance of a contact pressure plate to a counter plate, wherein the adjusting device, a drive spring for determining the wear caused by false distance of the pressure plate to the counter plate, an adjusting element for setting the operating point of the friction clutch along an axial direction and a safety of the adjustment element in order to maintain the set operating point of the friction clutch. The adjusting element comprises a sleeve and a bolt arranged in the sleeve. The sleeve is in a form-fitting manner with the driving spring or materially and the bolt with the sleeve is connected in a frictionally engaging manner. The securing consists in that the frictional connection of the sleeve and the bolt is fixed in comparison to a displacement of the sleeve with the drive spring in the axial direction.Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for setting an operating point of the friction clutch.
