The invention relates to a surgical reposition instrument (10) for lowering and fixing of a locating rod (12) in the tulips head (14) of a bone screw (16) comprising:- a coupling sleeve (20) with at least two distal latching arms (26), for the coupling of the repositioning instrument (10) at the tulips head (14) of the bone screw (16) in a to the longitudinal axis (18) of the repositioning instrument (10) radial direction are elastically displaceable,- a locking sleeve (30), which on the coupling sleeve (20) between a release position and a locking position is arranged in a longitudinally displaceable manner, whereby the deflection of the detent arms (26) by the locking sleeve (30) in its release position is made possible and in its locking position, is inhibited;- a for the locking sleeve separate sleeve-shaped rod push button (32) for contacting and lowering of the locating rod (12), the relative to the coupling sleeve (20) is arranged so as to be displaceable in the axial direction, whereby the rod push button (32) and the locking sleeve (30) can be actuated independently.n="32"
