A pusher assembly for presenting articles on a shelf in a sales area includes a side divider (100), a tray (200) for supporting articles, a pusher (400) for acting from behind on a row of articles, a front stop member (300) for the row of articles and an elastic means (500) for biasing the pusher toward the front stop. According to the invention, the plate (200) and the separator (100) comprise in a rear region at least one breakable band (222; 122) separated from a main part of the plate, respectively of the separator, so as to adapt the depth of the pusher assembly to a given tablet depth.
