The present invention relates to a foaming cleaning composition in the form of an aqueous gel comprising at least one alkyl sulphate derivative, at least one alkyl polyglucoside, optionally at least one alkyl betaine derivative, at least one polyol and at least one an organic acid, the weight ratio derived from alkyl sulfate / alkyl polyglucosides being between 0.5 and 2.5, preferably between 0.8 and 1.3, and even more preferably between 0.9 and 1.2. The composition according to the invention is a foaming and transparent cleaning composition, stable, having excellent cosmetics with in particular an optimized viscosity without adding a thickening polymer for easy use. The composition of the invention also has a good foam quality and good sensory properties on the skin, especially after rinsing.
