Furthermore the invention refers to a connector (25) for medium and low voltage application with a base part (60) and a busbar (41) and a housing (1) with a first chamber (2) for receiving at least a part of a second terminal (50), wherein the first chamber (2) is embodied to receive an inner plug (20), wherein the inner plug (20) is provided for electrically connecting the busbar (41) with the second terminal (50), wherein the housing (1) comprises a connecting means (90) that is fixed with the housing (1), wherein the connecting means (90) is arranged at least partly within the first chamber (2), wherein the connecting means (90) is provided for connection with the busbar (41), wherein the connecting means (90, 91, 92) improves the mechanical connection between the busbar (41) and the housing (1).
