1suiteThe present invention relates to a method for diagnosing and/or prognosing of colon cancer based on the determination of expression profiles of sets of miRNAs representative for colon cancer compared to a reference. Furthermore, the present invention relates to sets of polynucleotides and/or primer pairs for detecting sets of miRNAs for diagnosing and/or prognosing of colon cancer in a biological sample from a subject. Further, the present invention relates to means for diagnosing and/or prognosing of colon cancer comprising said sets of primer pairs and/or polynucleotides. In addition, the present invention relates to a kit for diagnosing and/or prognosing of colon cancer comprising means for determining expression profiles of sets of miRNAs representative for colon cancer and at least one reference. Further, the present invention relates to use of polynucleotides and/or primer pairs for diagnosing and/or prognosing of colon cancer in a biological sample of a subject.
