The invention relates to neurocomputer systems, namely to the area of non-contact control of electronic computing or other technical devices using brain-computer interfaces to select commands, and can be used in communication and management systems, in particular, intended for people with impaired motor function, as well as for healthy people in situations where the control of the command selection is carried out in a non-contact mode. A neurocomputer system for selecting commands based on recording brain activity contains an electroencephalograph, electrodes configured to transmit detected pulses, electronic computing device intended for the analysis of recorded brain activity, and a visual stimulus environment module combining at least two control elements provided with the ability to create visual stimuli, each associated with a single command, wherein the controls are grouped into at least two groups, each of which consists of at least one control element, while for each group there is one switching control associated with the command, simultaneously initiating the creation of visual stimuli for all controls in the group, to which it refers, and disabling the creation of visual stimuli for all controls, contained in the other groups, except the switching controls of each of the groups. The technical result achieved by the proposed invention consists in the reduction of the time spent on selecting an element in a visual stimulus environment containing a large number of elements while maintaining a predetermined level of reliability of selection.
