To improve a bending process by a bending machine on a bent portion of a hinge arm supporting an opening/closing lid for a vehicle so that the lid is rotatable and improve productivity, quality, and a yield rate of the hinge arm.SOLUTION: A hinge arm 30 is formed of three elements of a bent portion 31 formed from a hollow pipe member located at an intermediate portion, an attachment portion 32 fixed to an end of the bent portion 31 to support a lid, and a shaft support portion 33 fixed to the other end of the bent portion 31 to form a rotation center of the hinge arm 30. Thus, the bent portion 31 can be formed in a simple curved shape such as an arc shape that can be easily processed and bent by press molding. The attachment portion 32 and the shaft support portion 33 that are separate members can be formed by sheet metal stamping and can be fixed to the bent portion 31 by indirect spot welding. With such a configuration, processing on the bent portion 31 is facilitated. In addition, hole drilling on the bent portion 31 can be completely eliminated, and a wiring harness 50 is allowed to be inserted to a hollow portion of the bent portion 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
