PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire resistance covering structure of a steel beam which is suitable for the situation where the temperature of a lower flange serving as a key of tensile stress burden when the bending moment acts on the steel beam due to the load, etc., is higher compared to other parts of a steel cross section.;SOLUTION: A boxed type fire resistance covering structure of a steel beam 1 which includes an upper flange 1a, a lower flange 1b and a web 1c is structured as such that a thickness αtp of a fire resistance covering 2 on the lower flange 1b is made thicker than a thickness tp of the fire resistance covering 2 on a side surface, and the fire resistance covering thicknesses tp, αtp with respect to the target fire resistance time are set according to a corrected cross-sectional shape factor.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
