To provide a lateral roofing exterior structure, its construction method and a lateral roofing exterior material used for the same without needing to construct an insulation material laying and a lateral roofing exterior material laying continuously and capable of constructing the lateral roofing exterior structure without trouble even if there will be a rainfall during a construction.SOLUTION: A lateral roofing exterior structure is provided in which a plurality of insulation material 2 is laid on a surface of a substrate 4 without a gap and a lateral roofing exterior material 1 is laid outside of the insulation material 2, and the insulation material 2 is non-permeable having a projection part of which surface layer part extends in a downstream side at a downstream end. The lateral roofing exterior material 1 comprises a downstream side molding part 12 having: a fixation piece part 14 along the insulation material 2 in an upstream side of a face plate part 11; a lateral groove with a downstream side open in its downstream side; an upstream side molding part with an engaging part engaging with the projection part of the insulation material 2; an insertion piece capable of engaging with the lateral groove (of the exterior material 1 in the downstream side) folded in a rear surface side in the downstream side of the face plate part 11 and extending in the upstream side; and an overlap part overlapping outside the engaging part (of the exterior material 1 in the downstream side).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
